In many towns, people know each otherby name and will offer a good morning or awave as you drive by. In a world that is becoming more and more complex, there is great value in this humble simplicity.

In Vermont wehave hometown fairs and festivals, such as the annual 4th of July parades in Wardsboro & Londonderry, the Jamaica Old Home Day (held the last Saturday in July), the Peru Fair, and the Chester CraftFair in September. There are currently 23 highly acclaimed colleges and universities operating in Vermont. Take a drive to any part of Vermont and you will find terrific historical and educational sites. Some exciting day trips include the UVM Morgan Horse Farm in Middlebury, the Bennington Battle Monument, the Robert Frost Stone House Museum in Shaftsbury, ECHO Lake Aquarium & Science Center in Burlington, Fort Dummer State Park in Brattleboro, The Salmon Hole & Jamaica State Parkand The Calvin Coolidge Birthplace and Museum in Plymouth.
